This Sunday 16th June, a few Caversham Artists will be participating in the Caversham Court Gardens Summer Party along with Friends of Caversham Court Gardens, Friends of Reading Abbey and Friends of Reading Museum.
The gardens are located on Church Road (A4074), about half a mile from Caversham Bridge. The main entrance is between St Peter’s Church and The Griffin pub.
Therese Wicks, Anne Webster & Mary Phelan will be running a History themed drawing session for children between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
Over the next two months you can also see some Caversham Artists creating their art in the gardens. In May Mary Phelan, Glenda Hemken and Carolyn Nash were drawing in the gazebo. In June Debbie Page demonstrated how to make a ceramic tea pot in the glorious sunshine. Fingers crossed for fine weather over the next few months.
- 7th July – Nina O’Connell and Anne Webster
- 4th August – Charles Burns and Gloria Pitt. Charles will be cutting silhouettes from 2pm-4pm
